Our Mission

Systemic Change Requires Sustained Political Action

Remedy Navigators helps families navigate the grievance process — and every properly filed case contributes to the documented record that reformers need. The Remedy Reform Fund takes that record to Congress, to advocacy coalitions, and to the public to drive real legislative reform.

The BOP currently resolves in the inmate's favor in just 2.6% of cases. That number will not change without sustained political engagement from above and documented accountability from below. That is exactly what the Remedy Reform Fund is building.

How We Work

Three Pillars of Reform

Legislative Advocacy

Direct engagement with senators, representatives, and congressional members to advance legislation that strengthens inmate rights, increases BOP accountability, and reduces procedural barriers to justice.

Coalition Building

Partnering with prison reform organizations, civil rights coalitions, and advocacy groups to build a unified movement with the collective voice and documented evidence needed to drive systemic change.

Evidentiary Record

Every properly filed grievance through Remedy Navigators contributes to a growing body of documented evidence. The Reform Fund uses this record to demonstrate the scale of the problem to legislators and the public.

Partner With the Movement

For those who have the resources to create the change they wished had existed when they needed it most — there is a different path. Founding Partners have a seat at the table: direct updates on advocacy strategy, recognition in legislative materials, and a voice in campaign priorities.

Reform Council Membership

Founding Partners at $10,000+ are recognized as Reform Council members and receive quarterly strategy briefings.

Legislative Recognition

Major donor support is acknowledged in advocacy materials, congressional briefings, and coalition communications.

Personal Impact

Many of our most committed supporters have personal experience with the system. Your contribution creates the change you know is needed.

The Relationship Between the Reform Fund and Remedy Navigators

Remedy Navigators is a membership service that helps families navigate the federal administrative grievance process. The Remedy Reform Fund is an independent 501(c)(4) organization that uses the documented record generated by that work to drive legislative reform.

They are separate organizations with complementary missions. Contributions to the Reform Fund go directly to legislative advocacy — not to Remedy Navigators' operational costs.
