We're Here to Help.
Choose How Much Help You Need.

Some families want to learn the steps and handle things themselves. Others want us to take over completely. Either way, we've got you covered. Pick the plan that fits your situation.

🛡️

Every plan includes Roadblock Protection — our most important service.

Many prisons try to block complaints. Forms disappear. Staff refuse to help. People get threatened. This is the number one reason good complaints never make it to court. Every plan we offer includes our roadblock protection — because we've seen these tricks from both sides, and we know how to stop them.

“I didn't know the 20-day clock was already running. Remedy Navigators caught it in time and filed everything correctly. Without them, we would have lost our right to sue entirely.”

Denise R.

Mother of a federal inmate, Texas

“My husband had been complaining about his medical situation for months. By the time I found this service, we had already missed one step. They reviewed everything, explained our options, and helped us file what we still could.”

Patricia M.

Wife of a BOP inmate, Georgia

“The Guardian plan was worth every penny. The court-ready documentation package they put together is exactly what our attorney needed. Professional, thorough, and they answered every question I had.”

James T.

Son of a federal inmate, Florida

⏱️

Every day you wait is a day closer to a missed deadline.

The BOP gives you 20 days from the incident to file your first complaint. Courts dismiss cases every day because families didn’t know the clock was running. Most members who come to us wish they had started sooner.

What Happens After You Sign Up

Here's what the experience looks like from the moment you enroll to the moment your process is complete.

01

Sign Up & Tell Us What Happened

A family member or the inmate themselves enrolls online. We'll ask you to walk us through what happened, when it happened, and what you'd like resolved. No legal knowledge required.

02

We Prepare the Forms

Our team writes up each form using clear, factual language and the right policy references. You'll get a chance to review everything before it's submitted.

03

We File and Keep Track

We handle all submissions, watch every deadline, confirm your filings are logged, and keep you updated at every step. Nothing falls through the cracks.

04

We See It Through to the End

We handle each appeal — from the Warden all the way to Washington, D.C. — until the process is fully complete. Guardian members also get a full court-ready document package.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a family member sign up for an inmate?

Absolutely. Our service is built with families in mind. A family member on the outside can enroll, share the details of the situation, and we'll handle everything from there. We know that inmates have very limited access to phones, computers, and resources — so having someone on the outside manage this is often the best approach.

How do you get the information you need from the inmate?

We work mainly with the family member or whoever enrolled on the outside. When we need specific details from the inmate directly, we coordinate through approved mail or, where available, the TRULINCS email system. We've designed our intake process to gather as much as possible upfront so we don't need to go back and forth too many times.

What if the deadline has already passed?

Contact us right away — don't wait. Depending on the situation, there may still be options available. We'll review what happened, explain your options honestly, and help you figure out the best path forward. The sooner you reach out, the more we can do.

Are you a law firm? Do you give legal advice?

We're a document preparation and advocacy service, not a law firm, and we don't give legal advice. What we do is prepare forms, track deadlines, research BOP policies, and manage the filing process on your behalf. If you need an attorney, our Guardian plan includes access to our referral network.

How long does the whole process take?

From the first informal complaint all the way to the final appeal, the process usually takes 6 months or more. The BOP is allowed to extend their response deadlines at each step, and they often do. We track every deadline and extension so nothing slips through the cracks.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel anytime. That said, we'd recommend staying enrolled until the process is fully complete — canceling in the middle could create gaps in your deadline tracking and documentation. If you have concerns about cost, reach out and we'll see what we can work out.

What kinds of complaints can go through this process?

Almost anything related to life inside a federal facility: medical care, disciplinary actions, housing conditions, staff behavior, religious accommodations, property issues, transfer requests, program access, and more. If something happened that affected the inmate's rights or conditions, it's worth exploring.

What's in the court-ready documentation package?

The Guardian plan includes a complete organized package: copies of every form filed, every receipt received, a timeline of the whole process, and a certification showing that all required steps were completed. This is what you'd need to show a court that you went through the process correctly.
